Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Ganzhi is operated by Ding Zhihu, an individual operating under the laws of China and trading as humandbots, at https://ganzhi.humandbots.com.

By using the Service or buying a reading you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years old; (b) have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms; (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) understand and accept the statement above about what this service is. If you do not agree, please stop using it.

2. Description of the Service

2.1 Free: the chart

Given a date, time and gender of birth, the Service computes and displays a Four Pillars chart: stems and branches, elements, nayin, ten gods, hidden stems, elemental distribution, luck-cycle onset and ten decade cycles. This is computed by the open-source calendar library lunar-typescript (MIT). It is deterministic arithmetic, involves no AI, and is free and unlimited.

2.2 Paid: the reading

A reading is a written interpretation produced by handing that chart data to a large language model. Two tiers are offered: Basic Reading $9, Deep Reading $29. A reading is a one-time digital purchase, generated immediately on payment.

2.3 Third-party AI model disclosure

Readings are generated by third-party large language models, which we access through OpenRouter. Their availability and output quality may be affected by that provider's operational status. Readings are generated strictly from your chart data, but may still contain errors, vagueness or internal inconsistency.

2.4 Nature and limits of the Service

We make no claim about the "accuracy" of a reading, because the framework it draws on is not a verifiable scientific method. What we do commit to: the calendar arithmetic is correct, readings are grounded strictly in your chart data, the writing never uses fear-based language, and we never sell remedies, charms or luck-changing services.

3. No Account Needed

There is no sign-up and no login. Casting a chart requires no identifying information. When you buy a reading, checkout is hosted by the payment processor, and the return link afterwards is your receipt.

Keep that return link: it is the only way to reopen your reading. If you lose it, contact support with your transaction ID and we can help you recover it.

4. Billing and Payment

4.1 One-time payment

Each reading is a separate one-time transaction, charged once at the amount shown at checkout. There is no subscription, nothing auto-renews, and there is no auto-recharge.

4.2 Payment processing

Transactions here are handled by Waffo Pancake as Merchant of Record. Your card data is processed exclusively by its PCI-DSS compliant systems; full card numbers never reach and are never stored on our servers.

4.3 Taxes

Unless stated otherwise, listed prices exclude applicable taxes. Waffo Pancake calculates, collects and remits them based on your location, and the tax-inclusive total is shown at checkout.

4.4 Billing descriptor

Charges appear on your card statement as HUMANDBOTS. If you do not recognise one, email support@humandbots.com first.

4.5 Price changes

We may adjust prices. The price that applies is the one shown at your checkout; changes never affect a completed transaction.

5. Refund Policy

• Reading not yet generated: refunded in full, no reason needed.
• Reading generated but clearly not matching what this site describes for that tier (badly short, missing sections, unrelated to your chart): refunded in full.
• Generation failed or was interrupted: you are not charged; any charge taken is returned, or you may simply regenerate.
• Duplicate charges: always refunded in full where caused by a billing error.
• Statutory rights: rights of withdrawal or refund under applicable law (such as the 14-day cooling-off period in the EU and UK) are preserved. For immediately delivered digital content, that right ceases once the reading has finished generating.
• Not refundable: a request based only on disagreeing with the content of a reading, or with the framework itself — that is the nature of the Service, as set out in Section 2.4.

Email support@humandbots.com with your transaction ID and the reason. We acknowledge within 2 business days, and approved refunds are returned by Waffo Pancake within 5–10 business days.

6. Billing Disputes

If a charge looks wrong, email support@humandbots.com before raising a chargeback with your bank. We commit to replying within 2 business days and resolving confirmed billing errors within 5. Talking to us is almost always faster.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

• The reading text you buy is yours, for any lawful purpose including sharing and commercial use.
• The birth details you enter are yours. We do not keep them (see Section 8).
• The site's interface, copy and brand belong to ganzhi. Chart computation is done by the open-source library lunar-typescript (MIT), whose licence applies separately.
• Readings are AI-generated. In some jurisdictions purely AI-generated content may not attract copyright protection; that is a matter of applicable law and is not changed by these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated means to bulk-request charts or readings, or to evade rate limits.
• Present a reading as the professional opinion of a licensed physician, lawyer, financial adviser or therapist.
• Make assertions or give advice to others about health, finances, legal matters or personal safety on the basis of a reading.
• Resell or white-label the Service without our written consent.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

Report abuse to support@humandbots.com. We may rate-limit or refuse service to abusive requests.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy (https://ganzhi.humandbots.com/en/legal/privacy).

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability is limited to what you actually paid for the transaction concerned.

If you are experiencing distress or a health problem, please contact a qualified professional or your local support service rather than relying on anything here.

11. Suspension of the Service

We may suspend or permanently discontinue the Service for maintenance, technical failure or legal reasons. Readings paid for but not yet generated at the point of a permanent shutdown are refunded in full.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of China. Before starting formal proceedings, please email support@humandbots.com to attempt informal resolution; we commit to a substantive response within 10 business days. This does not affect mandatory rights under the consumer protection laws where you live.

13. General

We may update these Terms. Material changes are published here at least 14 days in advance with an updated version and effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If any provision is held invalid the rest remain in force. These Terms are published in English and Chinese; the English version prevails if they differ.
